We must never study the Bible simply as an intellectual challenge or exercise. Our goal must not be just to accumulate lots of knowledge. After all, "knowledge puffeth up" (I Cor. 8:1). Our goal must be to grow in grace as we grow in knowledge. As we grow in our personal Bible study career, we also must conform our lives to what we learn, both in our thinking and in our behavior. That is, personal Bible study shapes our lives both inwardly and outwardly.
"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." II Peter 3:18
The discussions and messages listed below explain and illustrate how people "grow in grace" in some selected areas of life.
