The Lord's Supper: COMMANDED BY GOD

A regular meal: VOLUNTARY }

a)* If we celebrate the Lord's Supper unworthily, we show that Christ has not shed His blood for us, and we will face the same judgment He did on our own.

b) If we celebrate the Lord's Supper unworthily, we will be held accountable for the crucifixion of Jesus, just like those Jews who sent Jesus to the cross.

c) If we celebrate the Lord's Supper unworthily, we are not really celebrating the Lord's Supper.

Short answer

Write an answer to ONE of the following questions or requests. The answer must not be longer than one paragraph.

A. What spiritual problem could be the cause of a person's refusal to accept the biblically mandated chain of command? THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO SUBMIT TO GOD'S AUTHORITY, WHICH COMES OUT AS JEALOUSY, ANGER, CRITICISM, COMPETITION, REBELLION, PREOCCUPATION IN THIS LIFE, A RELIGION OR "GOOD WORKS"

B. What is especially serious about observing the Lord's Supper with the wrong motives. SUCH A PERSON MAKES THE WRONG STATEMENT ABOUT GOD, SALVATION AND THE CHURCH. IF HE IS NOT SAVED, THEN HE ADDS TO HIS CONDEMNATION. IF HE IS SATISFIED AND IS AT PEACE BECAUSE OF THE RITUAL OF THE LORD'S SUPPER, HE WILL NOT SEEK THE TRUE SALVATION.

Essay

How important is proper respect for the chain of command in a church members' personal life? How important is it for his personal witness? WE CANNOT SAY WE ARE A BELIEVE AND NOT RESPECT THE AUTHORITY UNDER WHICH HAS PLACED US. THE CHAIN OF COMMAND MAINTAINS ORDER SO THAT THERE IS A GOOD WITNESS IN AND OUT OF THE CHURCH. THAT IS, SUBMISSION TO THE CHAIN OF COMMAND HELPS THOSE WHO LEAD THE CONGREGATION FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOSPEL TO HAVE THE SUPPORT OF THOSE WHOM THE RULE. SUBMISSION TO THE CHAIN OF COMMAND ILLUSTRATES THE MESSAGE OF THE GOSPEL THAT THE CHURCH BRINGS. SINCE AUTHORITY BEGINS WITH GOD, HIS NAME IS AT SAKE.
